This year marks the sixtieth anniversary of the first One Great Hour of Sharing. Over the years, thanks to the generosity of Presbyterians, the offering has made a tremendous difference to people experiencing need around the world. Though the financial crisis here in the United States has affected many of us, the world's poorest are feeling the impact much more. Our denomination has asked individuals and congregations to increase their gifts as they are able.
On Sunday, March 29 and again on Palm Sunday, April 5 you will hear of specific needs and programs in our Moments for Mission. The offering will be received and dedicated on Easter Sunday.
